Here's an aero Grand Marquis with 186,000 miles sitting on the local used car lot with a $4700 asking price. Pretty car, but considering the miles, about twice what it ought to be selling for, IMO.

If it was cheaper, I'd be tempted to buy it for a second car/beater. The pics look pretty good, but the paint and vinyl are a bit faded. The interior is dark green, and it has leather seats. The wheels are American Racing, but they're a sensible size, and actually look pretty good. I didn't pay enough attention to tell if they were 15s or 16s, but they're not bad, so, no harm no foul in that department.

Ummm, that door is caved in, not scraped and I can see rust where it's damaged. Also the car is missing paint in the rear.

All that said, I wonder how cheap it will sell for. I'd like to have it

This one has me VERY happy and sad at the same time. My grandparents had this exact color combo car and I remember fond days of riding in it. Best was when my Dad "borrowed" it and we went for a ride. The sound of that 460 was incredible to a budding car enthusiast.

My dad used to have one of these. His was white. He had the engine rebuilt, bored .030 over, a hotter cam installed, a 750 carb, and an aftermarket intake. That car was way faster than a car that big has a right to be. It also drank gas like a alcoholic at a frat party with an open bar. Cool old car.
